The decoration at Oscar was absolutely delightful, with vintage touches and cozy furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were impeccably maintained and accessible for senior people like myself. The children working there were always ready to assist and made sure I had a comfortable stay.
A handrail in the shower would have been helpful for senior guests.

The room at Oscar in Ghent was cozy and welcoming, with a kitchenette that made it easy to cook simple meals. I loved the comfy bed and the flat-screen TV that kept me entertained. The patio and private entrance added a nice touch of privacy.
I personally found the absence of a minibar in the double room a bit disappointing. But hey, some may actually prefer having more space for their own snacks and drinks.
